‘Language is the noblest instrument we have, talk itself is a sort of spiritualized action; and conversation is one of the loveliest of the arts. It should touch everything, but should concentrate itself on nothing.’ – Oscar Wilde
I see conversation as an expansive field that deploys beyond words. A form of presence to one’s self and an other, a temporary place to reassess togetherness, a possibility of a transformative trajectory. A field where, through verbal and non verbal speech, our voice, our body, and the lineage of stories they bear, are the noblest instruments we have.
